His 30 years experience in the curtain wall industry spans many disciplines, from creating preliminary design proposals to managing the on site erection of complete wall systems. Back in Taiwan in 1991, he founded the ALT Cladding and Design Inc., now ALT Cladding Inc. and immediately became involved in a number of high profile projects in Asia.
His work experience covers a vast area of the world, from the Midwest to the Far East. A graduate of the School of Architecture of the University of Southwestern Louisiana in Lafayette, Louisiana, Joe had worked in architectural offices in Memphis, Tennessee. Joe participated in the design and engineering of cladding systems for the Hong Kong- Shanghai Bank building while employed at Cupples Products Division of H.H. Robertson Company. He has designed and developed many custom and standard curtain wall systems in both aluminum and steel for Cupples, Arcadia Wall Systems, Carmel Steel Products and Triteq.
Well trained in the nuts and bolts of curtain wall, Joe turns ideas into reality. He knows what it takes to get clients' details to function for strength, weatherability, ease of manufacture, and speed of erection, while keeping the aesthetic look at a reasonable cost. This hands-on experience is valuable when speedy progress of a job is a main priority. Joe can draw on his past experience to efficiently sort through the options available in order to arrive at the best possible solution in the minimum amount of time.
