Wind Velocity and Positive Pressure
The following table provides the approximate correlation of wind velocity to positive pressure. Negative pressures (wind suction) for the same velocities can be much larger.
These values are presented for information only. They are not appropriate to determine the design pressure of buildings or building cladding. To determine design pressures, use a wind tunnel study or the appropriate building code.
